How Can I Access Itunes While Using A Proxy Server

I can play radio in iTunes but whenever I try to access iTunes store “iTunes could not connect to iTunes store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again.”

iTunes store works fine when I am home and access internet via broadband.

Is there any way I can access iTunes store in college?
