After I ran a disk clean up and defragmented the C drive, it shows 1% free space and it needs at least 15%. It tells me I need to delete unused files from the hard drive. I do not have any new hardware or files added, just the updating files for security and for the usual updates. Any help would be appreciated. Setup: Inspiron 1100 Dell, Windows XP
However, some applications refuse to run on a different desktop if the program was set up originally through a specific drive port (a, g, k, or M drive, for example) and they recorded a file as installed on a specific drive. When I go to a different computer, the app cannot find the file needed to run (a database file, for example) because now it is running through drive K instead of the original G drive....
Please don’t recommend Kies as it only allows me to manage a few file types like music and videos. I want to be able to add, delete, create folder/files etc. just like what I used to do on Windows PC. I didn’t notice this inability previously as I transferred apk files via Bluetooth and currently even Bluetooth is not working anymore. Please help!

I talked to a techie friend of mine today and he suggested putting it in a pillow case and putting that in a bag with rice to absorb the water. He said change the rice daily & wait a week to see if it will work. I am completely desperate here. Is there anything that can be done to possibly save this computer?
